People's Green Award

Airtel Delhi Half Marathon believes in a cleaner and greener world to live in and tirelessly work to achieve the same. In keeping with our constant endeavor to reduce carbon emission, last year many green activities were initiated in this direction.

Airtel Delhi Half Marathon 2012 brought to you the inaugural chapter of the 'People's Green Award' (PGA), a platform to acknowledge people who go the extra mile to make the earth greener. PGA received some great entries, with a number of really interesting and inspiring work coming to the fore.

It's our honour to have on board an esteemed panel of Jurists who will be part of the judging process of the People's Green Award.

Nominations & Judging Process

From the applications received, 5 applications in each category will be shortlisted for judging, based on verifications and audits. Names of the top 5 entries will be revealed later.

These entries will then be put to the test with the esteemed panel of Green Jury and public voting online. Winners will be decided by the cumulative score of the Jury and the Public in the ratio of 70:30.

Winners will be announced and recognized at the Post Event Press Conference.

Please note, participation, nomination and judging of the People's Green Award will be subject to the Terms and Conditions set herein.

PGA TERMS & CONDITIONS

The Green Star category of the People's Green Award is open only to individuals/groups and/or NGO's participating in the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon 2012.
The Corporate Green Star category of the People's Green Award is open only companies and corporate foundations participating in the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon 2012.
The Corporate Green Star category is for green initiatives wherefrom monetary profits are not accrued.
Where a group/NGO/company or a corporate foundation is applying for the People's Green Award, at least one person involved in the project should be a confirmed participant of the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon 2012.
Contestants may be required to prove the authenticity of their entry if deemed necessary by the PGA Jury.
Every detail/claim made by the contestant should be quantifiable.
Any finalist who does not meet the requirement or is not traceable for background check etc. may forfeit the prize and another finalist may be chosen.
The entries must not contain any material which is illegal, inappropriate, indecent or violent. Also, it should not promote any kind of discrimination based on age, sex, religion, disability etc. Any entry found containing this will be disqualified.
By submitting the video, the applicant has given irrevocable rights to Procam International to use the content of the video in full or in part, for future promotional purposes.
Procam International reserves the right to cancel this promotion at its sole discretion.
