About Collection of Running Number Bibs

Q. Now that I have registered as a runner, from where do I collect my running number?

You need to collect your running number from the Get Active Expo of the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2012 at MMRDA Grounds, Bandra-Kurla Complex, Opp. Asian Heart Institute, Bandra (E), Mumbai, between Friday 6^th January and Sunday 8^th January, 2012. Q. From where and when do outstation runners collect their running numbers?

Outstation runners can collect their running number bibs and timing chips from the Exhibition Centre, World Trade Centre, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai on Saturday 14^th January 2012.

Q. I reside in Mumbai. Can I collect my running number bib on 14^th January?

Bib, timing chip and goodie bag collection facility on 14^th January is available only for outstation runners. Confirmed participants residing in Mumbai or Navi Mumbai must collect their running number bibs, timing chips and goodie bags from the Expo between 6^th and 8^th January 2012.

In case you will be travelling on the dates mentioned above, please ensure that you arrange to send a representative to collect your bib, chip (if running the marathon/half marathon race category) and goodie bag on your behalf. The representative needs to carry with him/her –

• Original acceptance letter/email confirmation sent to the participant,
• Authority letter from the participant authorising the representative,
• Photo-identity proof of the representative (original and photocopy), eg: PAN Card, passport, driving license, etc.

Important: please note in case of the Marathon and Half Marathon race categories, a representative can collect the bib and chip of ONLY one runner.

Q. Can we collect running number bibs and timing chips on race day?

No. No running number bib or timing chip or goodie bag will be distributed on race day.

Q. Can I send my representative to collect my running number bib on my behalf? If yes, what does he/she need to carry with him/her?

Yes, your representative may come collect your running number bib on your behalf from the Expo. The representative needs to carry with him/her –

• Original acceptance letter/email confirmation sent to the participant,
• Authority letter from the participant authorising the representative,
• Photo-identity proof of the representative (original and photocopy), eg: PAN Card, passport, driving license, etc.

Important: Where a marathon or half marathon runner cannot come to the Expo due to unavoidable circumstances, a representative can collect on behalf of the runner. However, in case of the marathon and half marathon race category, a representative can collect the running number bib and chip of ONLY one runner.

Q. As a participant of the Dream Run, Senior Citizens’ Run or Wheelchair Event, what do I need to ensure to collect from Expo?

Before leaving the Expo, please ensure that you have collected the correct running number. The race category has been clearly written behind each bib. Also ensure to collect –

• Event information brochure (which gives you race day information, do’s and don’ts, etc.),
• Goodie bag (which needs to be collected from the Goodie Bag Collection counter at the exit of the Expo).

Q. As a marathon or half marathon runner, what do I need to ensure to collect from Expo?
