Q. From where do the races start?
All races, except the Half Marathon, start from opposite the Chhatrapati Shivaji Railway Terminus on D. N. Road, Mumbai. Half Marathon will start from Bandra Reclamation, opposite Bandra Fire Station.

The easiest mode to reach the Half Marathon holding area is by using the local train. Bandra is the nearest station to reach the Half Marathon holding area. It’s a 900 meters walk from the station.
Q. Which is the easiest mode to reach Azad Maidan?
The easiest mode to reach Azad Maidan is by using the local train. Churchgate and Chhatrapati Shivaji Railway Terminus (CST) stations are the closest stations to reach Azad Maidan. Participants coming on Churchgate have to enter the Azad Maidan through Gate No. 4 (opp. Fashion Street, near Bombay Gymkhana) and participants coming on CST have to use the sub-way and enter Azad Maidan from Gate No. 5 (opp. TCS House, near Bombay Gymkhana). These are the only 2 gates from where participants will be allowed to enter Azad Maidan.

There is no parking facility available for any participants
Q. From which gate do I enter Azad Maidan?

Q. What is the time limit for completion of the Marathon and Half Marathon race categories?
The time limit for completion of marathon and half marathon race categories is 6 hours and 3 hours from respective start times. If you cannot finish your race within the time, and are still determined to reach the Finish, please keep to the footpath and stay off the road as vehicular traffic on certain sections of the course will be released.
Q. To whom will Finisher Medals be given after completion of the race?
Finisher Medals will be given to all Marathon and Half Marathon and Wheelchair Event finishers. Please note medals must be collected by the participants after completing the distance. Finisher Medals will NOT be posted to individual participants.
Q. I have registered as a marathoner/half marathoner. If I cannot make it on race day, can I give my running number bib and chip to someone else?
Your entry is not transferable. Any transfer of bib/chip, whatever may be the reasons, will lead to disqualification of your entry from this edition and you will not be able to apply for the 2013 edition of the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon.
