Mumbai, January 11, 2013: The Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon Get Active Expo 2013 was inaugurated at the MMRDA Grounds, BandraKurla Complex on Friday, January 11 by Bollywood Superstar John Abraham, the Event Ambassador of the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon.
The occasion was also used by global watch major Timex, the Timing Partner, and BMW, the Official Car of the event, to unveil BMW X6 as the lead car and the Timex timer for the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon.
The Get Active Expo is organised and marketed by Radio Mirchi Activations from 11th - 13th January and is a unique opportunity for health, fitness and wellbeing enthusiasts to come together under one roof. The Expo will be on between 11.00 am to 7.00 pm on all the three days and will also be the venue for all confirmed participants from Mumbai and its surrounding areas to come and collect their running numbers along with the goodie bags. Outstation runners can collect their running numbers and goodie bags on January 19between 11.00 am and 7.00 pm at the World Trade Centre.

A limited number of running bibs for the Full Marathon, the Half Marathon and the Dream Run will be sold at the Expo by United Way of Mumbai at their stall, with the proceeds going towards charity.
The Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon is one of the three international distance running events, promoted by Procam International, where Timex is the Official Timing Partner, and BMW, the Official Car, the other two being the TCS World 10K Bangalore and the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon.
